Summer weeding (暑𦔐: the second [character] is *y(un)* + *f(un)* in fanqie. The Mao Shi zhuan says: 'To remove weeds is called 𦔐.' The Shuowen says: 'To weed out foul grass among seedlings; it does not derive from 禾, but from 耒 with 員 phonetic.' It is also written as 芸. 耒 is pronounced *l(u)* + *h(wai)* in fanqie.)
