矰繳（上則登反鄭注周禮云結繳於矢為之矰考工記云矰矢弓所用也又云矢羽名矰說文從矢曾聲經作繒誤也下章若反廣雅云繳纏也說文云生絲縷也從糸敫聲或作𦅾）。

矰繳 (tethered arrow: the upper character has the fanqie ze + deng. Zheng's commentary on the Zhouli says: "Tying a cord to an arrow makes it a zeng (矰)." The Kaogongji says: "The zeng arrow is used with a bow." It also says: "The feather of an arrow is called zeng." The Shuowen says it is formed with the "arrow" semantic classifier and the zeng (曾) phonetic component. The sūtra writes it as 繒, which is an error. The lower character has the fanqie zhang + ruo. The Guangya says: "Zhuo (繳) means to wrap around." The Shuowen says: "Raw silk cords." It is formed with the "silk" semantic classifier and the jiao (敫) phonetic component. It is also written as 𦅾).
