赧而（拏揀反方言云𧹞愧也說文靣慙赤也從赤及聲及音展俗用從皮誤也）。

赧而 (blushing: [the upper character] has the fanqie na + jian. The Fangyan says: "Nan (𧹞) means ashamed." The Shuowen says: "The face turning red with shame." It is formed with the "red" semantic classifier and the ji (及) phonetic component. The character ji is pronounced zhan. The popular writing with the "skin" radical is an error).
