瑩飾（上縈廻反愽雅云瑩亦飾也廣雅摩也謂摩飾使光明也說文從玉從營省聲亦作鎣下昇織反說文飾刷也從帀飤聲也飤音寺）。

瑩飾 (adorned and polished: the upper character has the fanqie ying + hui. The Boya says: "Ying (瑩) also means to adorn." The Guangya says: "To polish," meaning to polish and ornament to make it radiant. The Shuowen says it is formed with the "jade" semantic classifier and an abbreviated form of ying (營) as phonetic component; it is also written as 鎣. The lower character has the fanqie sheng + zhi. The Shuowen says: "Shi (飾) means to brush and clean." It is formed with the za (帀) semantic classifier and the si (飤) phonetic component. The character si is pronounced si).
