𡝩媚（殀驕反考聲云婦人巧作姿態也亦笑也詩云𱣛之𡝩𡝩女子莊皃也說文從女芺聲經作妖俗字也芺音同上也下麋秘反韓詩云媚美也蒼頡篇好也說文愛也從女眉聲麋音眉）。

𡝩媚 (seductive and charming: [the upper character] has the fanqie yao + jiao. The Kaosheng says: "A woman skilfully assuming postures and airs; it also means laughing." The Shijing says: "The beauty is seductive and charming," describing a woman's adorned appearance. The Shuowen says it is formed with the "woman" semantic classifier and the ao (芺) phonetic component. The sūtra writes it as 妖, which is a popular character. The character ao is pronounced as above. The lower character has the fanqie mi + bi. The Han Shi says: "Mei (媚) means beautiful." The Cangjiepian says: "Pleasing." The Shuowen says: "To love." It is formed with the "woman" semantic classifier and the mei (眉) phonetic component. Mi is pronounced mei).
