戝贖（下時燭反尚書云金作贖刑孔注云出金贖罪也說文𧵍也從貝賣聲𧵍音母后反賣音融六反從貝[士/(固-十+儿)]聲埛古文六字）。

戝贖 (ransom: the lower character has the fanqie shi + zhu. The Shangshu says: "Gold was used for the punishment of redemption." Kong's commentary says: "Paying gold to ransom one's offense." The Shuowen says: "To ransom (gou)." It is formed with the "cowry" semantic classifier and the mai (賣) phonetic component. The character gou (𧵍) has the fanqie mu + hou. The character mai (賣) has the fanqie rong + liu, formed with the "cowry" radical and [士/(固-十+儿)] as phonetic component; jiong is an ancient form of the character liu).
