革𩌦（上耕額反說文革獸皮也下所綺反考聲云履之不攝跟名為革𩌦也說文鞮屬也從革徙聲經從尸作屣或作䩥並俗字也鞮皮履也）。

Leather sandals (革𩌦: the upper [character has the fanqie] 耕額反. The Shuowen [says]: '革 is the hide of beasts.' The lower [character has the fanqie] 所綺反. The Kaosheng says: 'Footwear that does not gather at the heel is called 革𩌦.' The Shuowen [says]: 'A kind of leather shoe (鞮).' Composed of 革 with 徙 phonetic. In the sūtra it is written with 尸 as 屣 or as 䩥, both of which are popular forms. 鞮 means leather shoes).
