革𩌦（上耕額反革獸皮也下所綺反考聲云履之不攝跟者名為革𩌦說文鞮屬也從革徙聲經文從尸作屣或作𩌦俗字也鞮音都奚反）。

革𩌦 [leather slippers / sandals] (The upper character is pronounced with the fanqie 耕額 [gé]; 革 means animal hide. The lower character is pronounced with the fanqie 所綺 [xǐ]. The Kaosheng says: “Footwear without a pulled-up heel is called 革𩌦.” The Shuowen jiezi says: “A kind of 鞮 [shoe]; formed from 革 [leather] with 徙 as the phonetic element.” In sūtra texts it is written with 尸 as 屣 or written as 𩌦, which are popular forms. 鞮 is pronounced with the fanqie 都奚 [dī]).
