北拘盧洲（梵語此云高勝亦在大醎海中其形正方定壽千歲無中夭者常受快樂次於諸天故言高勝也）。

Northern continent of Uttarakuru (北拘盧洲: Sanskrit; here translated as 'High and Superior' (高勝). It is also within the great salty ocean. Its shape is square. They have a fixed lifespan of one thousand years, with no premature deaths; they constantly enjoy happiness, second only to the devas; hence it is called 'High and Superior').
