牽𠂠（企堅反廣雅牽挽也連也說文引前也從牛從冖玄聲也冖音癸營反象牛之縻也俗用從手作牽非也）。

Leading [to life] (牽𠂠: pronounced [企 + 堅] q-iān [qiān]. The Guangya says: "牽 (qian) means to pull along; it means to connect." The Shuowen says: "To pull forward. It derives from ox (牛) and 冖, with 玄 as phonetic." 冖 is pronounced [癸 + 營] q-ióng [qióng], picturing a halter for an ox. The vulgar use deriving from hand (手), written 牽, is incorrect).
