俟時（事滓反上聲俗字時所用也正從立作竢說文從來作𥏳韻詮云俟待也考聲云侯來者也俗從人作俟亦通）。

Awaiting the time (俟時: pronounced [事 + 滓] s-ì [sì], in the rising tone; a vulgar character commonly used in current times. The correct form derives from 立, written 竢. The Shuowen derives it from 來, written 𥏳. The Yunquan says: "俟 (si) means to await." The Kaosheng says: "To wait for someone to come." The vulgar form deriving from 人, written 俟, is also accepted).
