紛綸（上芳文反廣雅紛眾多皃也亂也下律迍反易曰綸經理也宋忠注太玄經云綸絡也並形聲字也）。

Complex and interwoven (紛綸: the first character is pronounced [芳 + 文] f-ēn [fēn]. The Guangya says: "紛 (fen) describes a multitude; it means disordered." The second character is pronounced [律 + 迍] l-ún [lún]. The Yijing says: "綸 (lun) means to organize and regulate." Song Zhong's commentary on the Taixuan jing says: "綸 (lun) means to bind together." Both are phono-semantic compound characters).
