跳驀 (the first character, fanqie: 徒 + 彫 [tiáo]. The Cangjiepian states: 'Tiào means to leap up.' The Shuowen jiezi states: 'To stumble; another view is to jump.' It takes the foot radical [足] with 兆 as the phonetic component. The second character, fanqie: 萠 + 百 [mò]. The Shuowen jiezi states: 'To mount a horse.' It takes the horse radical [馬] with 莫 as the phonetic component; sometimes written as 𧻙).
