姝麗（上昌朱反毛詩傳云妹美色也方言趙魏燕代之間謂好為姝說文好色從女朱聲下犁帝反廣雅云麗好也說文從鹿兩聲音同上篆文字）。

Fair and beautiful (姝: upper syllable *tśʰ-*, *tśʰiang* + *tśiu* fanqie; the Mao Commentary on the Classic of Poetry says: '姝 means beautiful appearance.' The Fangyan says: 'Between Zhao, Wei, Yan, and Dai, good is called *shū*.' The Shuowen says: 'Fair appearance; takes the woman radical and *zhu* phonetic.' 麗: lower syllable *l-*, *li* + *tei* fanqie; the Guangya says: '麗 means fine.' The Shuowen says: 'Takes the deer radical and *liang* phonetic; pronounced the same as above; a seal-script character').
