救之（上鳩宥反廣雅云救猶助也謂相起助也考聲云援助也古今正字從支求聲也經作林音求非也攴音普木反）。

救之 (The first character is pronounced with the fanqie 鳩宥 [jiù]. The Guangya states: '救 is like助 (to assist); it means to aid and support each other.' The Kaosheng states: 'To assist and support.' The Gujin zhengzi states: 'Formed from 攴 [action] with 求 [qiú] as phonetic.' The sūtra text has 林 with the pronunciation of 求, which is incorrect. 攴 is pronounced with the fanqie 普木 [pū]).
