鎻械（上蘇果反漢書音義云連鎻謂以鐶相鈎連也古今正字從金𧴲聲經本作𤨏與義稍乖下骸戒反說文云桎梏也從木戒聲經本作核非也）。

鎻械 (The first character is pronounced with the fanqie 蘇果 [suǒ]. The Hanshu yinyi states: 'Chain links, meaning hooked together with interlocking rings.' The Gujin zhengzi states: 'Formed from 金 [metal] with 𧴲 as phonetic.' The sūtra text has 𤨏, which departs somewhat from the intended sense. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 骸戒 [xiè]. The Shuowen jiezi states: 'Shackles and fetters; formed from 木 [wood] with 戒 [jiè] as phonetic.' The sūtra text has 核, which is incorrect).
