[冠-寸+支]賊 (Pronounced with the fanqie 口候 [kòu]. The Shangshu has: 'Bandits, robbers, villainous schemers, and traitors.' Fan Ning's collected commentaries state: '冦 refers to those who attack and plunder in packs.' The Shuowen jiezi states: '冦 means violent.' The Guangya states: '冦 means to plunder.' 剽 is pronounced with the fanqie 芳玅 [piào]).
