相薄（補莫反小爾雅薄迫韋昭註漢書云氣往迫曰薄蝕經文作廣愽之愽非也）。

相薄 (Pronounced with the fanqie 補莫 [bó]. The Xiao Erya states: '薄 means to press closely upon.' Wei Zhao's commentary to the Hanshu states: 'When the vital vapor presses close, it is called an eclipse.' The sūtra text has the 愽 of 'broad and extensive' (廣愽), which is incorrect).
