愆咎（羗虛反孔注尚書云愆過也顧野王云凡物有過皆謂之愆也說文從心衍聲或作[咒-几+(共/心)]古字亦作𠐨也衍音演）。

Transgression and fault (愆咎): [愆 is pronounced with the fanqie] 羗 + 虛. Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: 'Qian (愆) means error.' Gu Yewang says: 'Whenever things have faults, they are all called qian.' The Shuowen says: 'Categorized under 心 (heart) with 衍 as phonetic.' It is also written [咒-几+(共/心)], an ancient form, and also written 𠐨. 衍 is pronounced 演 (yan).
