謗讟（上傅曠反下徒祿反郭注方言誣謗怨痛也杜注左傳讟誹也說文謗毀也從言旁聲也讟從誩賣聲也賣音育誩音竸也）。

Slander and vilification (謗讟): the first character is [pronounced with the fanqie] 傅 + 曠; the second character is [pronounced with the fanqie] 徒 + 祿. Guo's commentary on the Fangyan says: 'Slanderous false accusation and resentful pain.' Du's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: 'Du (讟) means defamation.' The Shuowen says: 'To slander and defame; categorized under 言 (speech) with 旁 as phonetic. Du (讟) is categorized under 誩 with 賣 as phonetic.' 賣 is pronounced 育 (yu); 誩 is pronounced 竸 (jing).
