膚豓（上甫無反毛詩云膚美也說文云膚皮也從肉從盧省聲也下閻𭼩反毛詩云美色日𧰚左傳云美而𧰚是也說文從豊從大從血經從色作艷俗字也）。

膚豓 (beautiful complexion: the first character is fu + wu fanqie. The *Mao Shi* says: "膚 means beautiful." The *Shuowen jiezi* says: "膚 means skin; it is composed of 'flesh' (肉) with the abbreviated form of lu (盧) as its phonetic element." The second character is yan + tie fanqie. The *Mao Shi* says: "Beautiful allure is called yan." The *Zuo zhuan* says: "Fair and alluring; this is it." The *Shuowen jiezi* says: "It is composed of feng (豊), da (大), and xue (血)." The sūtra writes it with the radical 'color' (色) as 艷, which is a vulgar character).
