秔糧（上革𢖍反考聲秈稻也聲類不黏稻也說文亦稻屬也從禾亢聲亢音康浪反經從米作粳俗字秈音仙）。

秔糧 (non-glutinous grain provisions: the first character is ge + zheng fanqie. The *Kaosheng* says: "Non-glutinous indica rice." The *Shenglei* says: "Non-sticky rice." The *Shuowen jiezi* says: "Also a type of rice; composed of 'cereal' (禾) with kang (亢) as its phonetic element; kang is kang + lang fanqie." The sūtra writes it with the radical 'rice' (米) as 粳, which is a vulgar character. 秈 is pronounced xian).
