推攘（上音吹考聲云排也鄭注禮記云推猶進也又舉也說文從手隹聲下穰尚反顧野王云三攘而後升是也說文攘推也從手襄聲亦作讓俗行之久今經文從手從𮕱誤也）。

Pushing and shoving (推攘: the upper character is pronounced chuī; the Kaosheng says: 'To shove'; Zheng's commentary on the Liji says: 'Tuī is like advancing; it also means to raise'; the Shuowen says: 'It follows hand with zhuī as phonetic'; the lower character is ráng-shàng fan; Gu Yewang says: 'Yielding three times before ascending is this'; the Shuowen says: 'Rǎng means to push; it follows hand with xiāng as phonetic'; also written as 讓, which has long been used in popular practice; the present sūtra text writing it with hand and 𮕱 is an error).
