Leather sandals (革屣: the upper character is gēng-hé fan; the Mao Shi commentary says: 'Animal hide treated with the hair removed is called gé'; the lower character is shī-zǐ fan; the Shenglei says: 'Also the character 𩌦; 𩌦 means shoe'; the Gujin zhengzi says: 'It follows shoe abbreviated with xǐ as phonetic; sometimes written 躧, pronounced shǐ').
