憺怕（上談濫反下烹伯反顧野王云憺謂恬也王逸云安也廣雅云怕靜也說文怕無為也竝從心詹白聲經文作惔誤）。

Calm and tranquil (憺怕: the upper character is tán + làn [dàn]; the lower is pēng + bó [pà]. Gu Yewang says: "Dàn means tranquil (恬)." Wang Yi says: "Peaceful." The Guangya says: "Pà means quiet." The Shuowen says: "Pà means non-action (wuwei)." Both characters are formed with xīn 心 ("heart"), with zhān 詹 and bái 白 as phonetic components. The sūtra text writes it as 惔, which is an error).
