炤燿（上招曜反顧野王云炤猶燭也廣雅炤亦明也古今正字從火召聲亦作照義同下遙笑反野王云燿亦光也賈注國語云燿亦明也說文從火翟聲也）。

炤燿 ('radiant and illuminating': the upper character has the fanqie 招曜 [zhào]. Gu Yewang says: 'Zhao means to shine.' The Guangya says: 'Zhao also means bright.' The Gujin zhengzi gives it as derived from 火 [fire] with 召 as phonetic; it is also written as 照, with the same meaning. The lower character has the fanqie 遙笑 [yào]. Gu Yewang says: 'Yao also means radiance.' Jia [Kui's] commentary on the Guoyu says: 'Yao also means bright.' The Shuowen says: 'Derived from 火 [fire] with 翟 as phonetic').
