錠㙩（上丁定反王注楚辝言鐙錠盡銅琢也聲類云有足曰錠無足曰鐙或為燈字說文錠鐙也從金定聲下力小反說文周垣也從土尞聲也尞音療）。

錠㙩 ('lamp and surrounding wall': the upper character has the fanqie 丁定 [dìng]. Wang [Yi's] commentary on the Chuci says: 'Deng and ding are both carved of bronze.' The Shenglei says: 'One with legs is called ding; one without legs is called deng.' It is also written as the character 燈 [lamp]. The Shuowen says: 'Ding means a footed lamp; derived from 金 [metal] with 定 as phonetic.' The lower character has the fanqie 力小 [liǎo]. The Shuowen says: 'An enclosing wall; derived from 土 [earth] with 尞 as phonetic.' 尞 is pronounced 療 [liáo]).
