數垓（柯哀反賈注國語云九州之田有垓數也顧野王云九垓是也許叔重注淮南子云九垓者九天下也說文從土亥聲經從女誤也）。

數垓 ('numerous as gai': the fanqie is 柯哀 [gāi]. Jia [Kui's] commentary on the Guoyu says: 'The fields of the Nine Provinces amount to a gai in number.' Gu Yewang says: 'The nine gai refers to this.' Xu Shuzhong's commentary on the Huainanzi says: 'The nine gai are the realms beneath the nine heavens.' The Shuowen says: 'Derived from 土 [earth] with 亥 as phonetic.' In the sūtra text it is written with 女 [woman], which is mistaken).
