[敲-高+魚]獵（上語居反考聲云捕水族也說文從攴魚聲從水作漁亦通下廉輒反賈注國語獵取也郭注爾雅陵獵暴虎也說文效獵逐禽也從犬巤聲巤音力業反）。

[敲-高+魚]獵 ('fishing and hunting': the upper character has the fanqie 語居 [yú]. The Kaosheng says: 'Catching aquatic creatures.' The Shuowen says: 'Derived from 攴 with 魚 as phonetic.' Writing it with 水 as 漁 is also acceptable. The lower character has the fanqie 廉輒 [liè]. Jia [Kui's] commentary on the Guoyu says: 'Lie means to take.' Guo [Pu's] commentary on the Erya says: 'Rushing in pursuit to boldly attack a tiger.' The Shuowen says: 'Chasing and catching game; derived from 犬 [dog] with 巤 as phonetic.' 巤 is pronounced 力業 [liè]).
