朝宗（周禮春見曰朝夏見曰宗鄭玄曰諸侯見天子之文朝猶朝也欲其來之早也宗猶尊也）。

Pay homage to court (朝宗: the Zhouli says: 'Appearing in spring is called cháo; appearing in summer is called zōng.' Zheng Xuan says: 'These describe feudal lords paying homage to the Son of Heaven. Cháo (朝) is like morning (朝), desiring that they come early. Zōng (宗) is like venerate (尊)').
