雹雨（蒲角反白虎通曰雹之言合也陰氣專精凝合為雹鄭玄注禮記云陽為陰起𱼊之凝而為雹釋名云雹跑也其所中物皆摧折如人所蹴跑也跑音父學反）。

Hailstorm [雹雨] (fanqie: 蒲角 [báo]; the Baihu tong says: "Hail [雹] is derived from the word 'congeal' [合]; the yin qi gathers its essence and congeals together to become hail." Zheng Xuan's commentary on the Liji says: "When yang arises for yin, the vapor congeals and becomes hail." The Shiming says: "雹 [báo] means to trample [跑]; whatever it strikes is broken and snapped as if kicked and trampled [跑] by a person"; 跑 has the fanqie 父學 [páo]).
