掣電（充世反掣電陰陽激耀也釋名云電𱥃也言乍見即𱥃滅也十州記云猛獸兩目如䃱磹之光今吳名電為䃱磹音息念大念反三輔名為類電也）。

Lightning flash [掣電] (fanqie: 充世 [chè]; 掣電 refers to the dazzling flare of the yin and yang clashing. The Shiming says: "電 means 𱥃 [lightning flash]; it means it is seen for an instant and instantly vanishes." The Shizhou ji says: "The two eyes of a fierce beast are like the brilliance of 䃱磹 [lightning]. Now in Wu, lightning is called 䃱磹, pronounced with the fanqie 息念 [xiàn] and 大念 [dàn]. In the Sanfu region, it is called similar to lightning").
