谿谷（苦奚古木反尒雅水注川曰谿李巡曰水出於山入於川曰谿說文泉之通川者曰谷）。

Ravines and valleys [谿谷] (fanqie: 苦奚 [xī] and 古木 [gǔ]; the Erya says: "Water pouring into a stream is called 谿 [ravine]." Li Xun says: "Water coming out of a mountain and entering a stream is called 谿." The Shuowen says: "A spring connecting to a stream is called 谷 [valley]").
