機會（居衣反說文主發之機也亦先見也周易樞機之發榮辱之主莊子鑿木為機滅者必有機心是也會古文㣛同胡外反尒雅會對也郭璞曰謂相當對也又會亦聚集也合也）。

機會 [opportune juncture] ([機 is pronounced with the] fanqie 居衣 [jī]; the Shuowen says: 'The mechanism that controls release; it also means foresight'; the Zhouyi says: 'The release of the trigger mechanism is the master of honor and disgrace'; Zhuangzi says: 'Hollowing wood to make a mechanism, those who destroy must have an opportunistic mind'—these are examples; 會 in ancient script is written as 㣛; the same; [pronounced with the] fanqie 胡外 [huì]; the Erya says: '會 means facing'; Guo Pu says: 'meaning corresponding to one another; also 會 means gathering together; joining').
