謦欬（上輕珽反蒼頡篇聲也說文謦亦欬也從言殸聲殸音口莖反下開改反顧野王欬嗽也說文逆氣也從欠亥聲論從口作[口*(聲-耳+口)]咳誤也）。

謦欬 (coughing and clearing the throat; the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 輕 and 珽 [=qǐng]. The Cangjiepian says: 'A sound.' The Shuowen jiezi says: '謦 also means to cough.' It takes 言 as semantic component and 殸 as phonetic component. 殸 is pronounced with the fanqie 口 and 莖 [=kēng]. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 開 and 改 [=kǎi]. Gu Yewang says: 'To cough.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Adverse rising qi.' It takes 欠 as semantic component and 亥 as phonetic component. The commentary writes it with 口 as [口*(聲-耳+口)]咳, which is an error).
