百齡 "A hundred years of age / longevity" (fanqie: 歷丁 [líng]. The Liji says: 'In ancient times, 年 (years), 齡 (age), and 齒 (teeth) were all 齡, meaning lifespan.' Zheng's commentary to the Liji says: 'Years, early death, breath, and teeth are counts of human lifespan.' The Guangya says: '齡 means years.' The Gujin Zhengzi states it is composed with 齒 and has 令 as its phonetic component; it is also written as 秢).
