謂稟（鄙錦反孔注尚書云稟受也廣雅云與也說文稟賜穀也從禾㐭聲㐭音廩也）。

謂稟 "Called endowed / receiving" (fanqie: 鄙錦 [bǐng]. Kong's commentary to the Shangshu says: '稟 means to receive.' The Guangya says: 'It means to give.' The Shuowen says: '稟 means to bestow grain; it is composed with 禾 and has 㐭 as its phonetic component; 㐭 is pronounced lǐn').
