鼓捊（下蒲溝反聲類作掊廣雅掊捶也今案捊皷杖也說文從手孚聲也）。

鼓捊 [drum-mallet] (the second character is pronounced with the fanqie 蒲 + 溝 [póu]. The *Shenglei* writes it as 掊. The *Guangya* states: '掊 means to strike.' We now examine that 捊 is a drumstick. The *Shuowen* states: 'Classified under the radical 手 with 孚 as its phonetic component').
