尺鷃（又作鴳同烏諫反鴳雀也亦名鶬鷃一名𩿇纂云閞內以鷃為鷃爛堆也案鷃長唯尺即以名焉一作𢇛小澤也）。

Foot-long quail (also written 鴳, the same, *wū-jiàn* fanqie; the 鴳 is a quail-like bird, also called 鶬鷃, and also called 𩿇. The Zuan says: 'Within the Passes, the quail (鷃) is called 鷃爛堆.' According to [sources], the quail is only one foot long, hence it takes this name. One [variant] writes 𢇛, meaning a small marsh).
