蚌蛤（蒲講反下古合反出珠自好者也字林燕雀所化也月望則蚌蛤實月晦則蚌蛉虛）。

Mussels and clams (蚌, *pú-jiǎng* fanqie; the lower character [蛤] is *gǔ-hé* fanqie. Those that produce pearls are the finest. The Zilin says: 'They are transformed from swallows and sparrows. When the moon is full, mussels and clams are full; when the moon is dark, mussels and clams are empty.')
