躁擾（臧告反考聲云躁急性也動也疾走也或作趮亦通下如沼反說文擾煩也孔云擾亂也說文擾字從手作夒奴刀反夒聲也經文從忄音心作[怡-台+夒]非也）。

Agitated and restless (躁擾: [first character fanqie] 臧告反; the Kaosheng states: "Zao (躁) means hasty disposition; it means to move; it means to run swiftly." It is also written as 趮, which is likewise acceptable. The second character has the fanqie 如沼反; the Shuowen jiezi states: "Rao (擾) means troubled." Kong says: "Rao means disordered." In the Shuowen jiezi, the character 擾 takes the hand radical (扌) with 夒 (fanqie 奴刀反) as its phonetic element. In the sūtra text, it takes the heart radical (忄, sound 心) as [怡-台+夒], which is incorrect).
