稊稗（上徒奚反字林云似稗一名英爾雅云同考聲云草名也衛宏作蕛或作秩[禾*((厂@羊)/羊)]古字也下蒲賣反杜預注左傳云似穀而異者說文云禾之別種也或作粺細米也）。

Tares and weeds (稊稗: the first character has the fanqie 徒奚反; the Zilin states: "It resembles barnyard grass; another name is ying." The Erya states the same. The Kaosheng states: "Name of a weed." Wei Hong wrote it as 蕛. It is also written as 秩 or [禾*((厂@羊)/羊)], which are ancient graphs. The second character has the fanqie 蒲賣反; Du Yu's commentary on the Zuozhuan states: "Something resembling grain yet different." The Shuowen jiezi states: "A distinct variety of grain." It is also written as 粺, meaning fine grain).
