𦫀踴（上徒登反莊子云𦫀躍音藥而上玉篇云𦫀猶跳躍也王逸注楚辭云𦫀馳也廣雅𦫀奔也上也度也說文云𦫀傳也從舟從馬龹音卷聲也下羊種反何休注公羊云踴上也漢書云市物𦫀踴米碩萬錢是也說文云踴跳也從𧾷勇聲也或作𧻹擗𧻹也）。

𦫀踴 (The first character has the fanqie: 徒登反 [téng]. The Zhuangzi says: "téngyuè (𦫀躍, bouncing with leaps—[躍 is] pronounced [in fanqie as] 藥 [yuè]) upward." The Yupian says: "𦫀 is like jumping and leaping." Wang Yi's commentary on the Chuci says: "𦫀 means to gallop." The Guangya says: "𦫀 means to rush; to ascend; to pass across." The Shuowen says: "𦫀 means to transmit; it is semantic with 舟 (boat) and 馬 (horse), with 龹 (pronounced [in fanqie as] 卷 [quán]) as the phonetic." The second character has the fanqie: 羊種反 [yǒng]. He Xiu's commentary on the Gongyang [zhuan] says: "踴 means to ascend." The Book of Han says: "The goods in the market soared (𦫀踴), with rice costing ten thousand coins per picul," which exemplifies this. The Shuowen says: "踴 means to leap; semantic with 𧾷, 勇 is the phonetic." It is also written as 𧻹, as in 擗𧻹 [beating the breast and stomping the feet]).
