耽染（荅南反考聲云躭嗜也玩也說文從身從躭省聲也下而琰反考聲云染污也著也說文從水杂聲）。

耽染 (The first character has the fanqie: 荅南反 [dān]. The Kaosheng says: "耽 means to indulge in; to relish." The Shuowen has it semantic with 身, with an abbreviated 躭 as phonetic. The second character has the fanqie: 而琰反 [rǎn]. The Kaosheng says: "染 means to defile; to be attached to." The Shuowen has it semantic with 水, with 杂 as phonetic).
