於稱（出證反爾雅云稱謂平輕重之具也廣雅云稱度也鄭注考工記云稱猶等也考聲正作稱說文從禾爯聲作秤俗字也）。

於稱 (The second character has the fanqie 出證. The Erya states: "Cheng (稱) refers to an instrument for balancing light and heavy." The Guangya states: "Cheng means to weigh/measure." Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary on the Kaogongji states: "Cheng is like equalizing." In the Kaosheng, the correct character is written as 稱. The Shuowen jiezi states that it is derived from the 'grain' radical (禾) with 爯 as phonetic; writing it as 秤 is a popular character.)
