嚼咽（牆爵反顧野王云嚼猶噍也字書云咀也下烟見反顧野王云咽猶吞也說文從口爵因皆聲也噍音樵笑反咀音才與反）。

嚼咽 (The first character has the fanqie 牆爵. Gu Yewang states: "Jiao (嚼) is like jiao (噍, to chew)." The Zishu states: "To chew (ju)." The second character has the fanqie 烟見. Gu Yewang states: "Yan (咽) is like to swallow." The Shuowen jiezi states that they are derived from the 'mouth' radical (口) with 爵 and 因 respectively as phonetics. 噍 has the fanqie 樵笑; 咀 has the fanqie 才與.)
