瓶甌（下歐侯反考聲云甌小瓦盆也案瓦椀瓷椀皆謂之甌也鄭注周禮云甌小[賏/正]也方言云盆之小者為之甌說文小盆也從瓦區省聲也）。

瓶甌 'Bottles and bowls' (The second character is fanqie 歐 + 侯. The Kaosheng states: 'An 甌 is a small earthenware basin. Note: Earthenware bowls and porcelain bowls are both called 甌.' Zheng's commentary on the Zhouli states: 'An 甌 is a small vessel.' The Fangyan states: 'Small basins are called 甌.' The Shuowen jiezi states: 'A small basin; derived from 瓦 "earthenware" with 區 abbreviated as phonetic.').
