騖驤（上無付反顧野王云驁疾馳也楚辭云忽馳騖以追逐是也廣雅云騖奔也下想羊反毛詩箋云驤駕也𦵮注西京賦云驤馳也說文竝從馬務襄皆聲）。

"Racing and galloping" (The first character has the fanqie: 無 + 付 [wù]. Gu Yewang says: '驁 means galloping swiftly.' The Chuci says: 'Suddenly racing and galloping to pursue.' This is it. The Guangya says: '騖 means to rush.' The second character has the fanqie: 想 + 羊 [xiāng]. Mao's commentary on the Shijing says: '驤 means to drive.' Xue's commentary on the Xijing fu says: '驤 means to gallop.' The Shuowen jiezi states that both derive from the horse radical, with 務 and 襄 as phonetics).
