耽樂（上荅含反孔注尚書云過樂謂之耽毛詩傳云樂之太甚也說文作媅云樂也從女甚聲亦作妉下音洛經本作耽俗字形也）。

Indulged in pleasure (耽樂: the upper [character has the fanqie] 荅含 [d- + -am → dān]. Kong’s commentary on the Shangshu says: “Excessive pleasure is called 耽.” The Mao commentary on the Shijing says: “Delighting in it excessively.” The Shuowen writes it as 媅 and says: “It means pleasure. Formed from 女 (woman) and 甚 as phonetic”; it is also written as 妉. The lower [character] has the sound 洛 [lò / yuè]. The base text of the scripture writes 耽, which is the popular character form).
