䲷磔（古堯反說文䲷不孝鳥也冬至日捕䲷磔之磔竹格反張磔也經文作棹疑誤也）。

Crucifying an owl (䲷磔: [䲷 has the fanqie] 古堯 [g- + -áo → jiāo]. The Shuowen: “The owl is an unfilial bird. On the winter solstice it is captured and torn limb from limb (磔).” 磔 has the fanqie 竹格 [zh- + -ak → zhé], meaning to stretch and dismember. The scripture text writes 棹, which is suspected to be an error).
